Some 2000 plus years after the crucifixion of Christ,  many that love, believe and support his mission before he departed this world are unaware of the enemy’s plot to separate them from the Father through years of religious propaganda. Most are under the assumption that all we have to do is honor God as the creator of the Universe and his son as the savior of the world. The Father gave us many commands that he requires us to keep and when Christ came, he reiterated those commands by saying “If you love me. Keep my commandments (John 14:15). THE BIBLE IS RIGHT and there is a right way to worship the Father and the Son. However, to the surprise of most, Christianity was not that way.

What’s wrong with Christianity?

To find out what’s wrong with Christianity, all we have to do is take a comprehensive look at history. Since before you were born, there was a plan brewing that would convince man that Christianity was established by Christ and that it was the command of the son of God for those that desired to spend eternity with him to accept the establishment of such a group. As was stated in Part 1, establishing a new order other than what God himself established, would have made Christ, Apostle Paul and anyone else a heretic.

THE WORLD PARADIGM: We must be very careful when attempting to do research, especially when it comes to investigating what we’ve believed regarding our spiritual walk. The following is what most will find if they were to ask the following question. Who is the founder of Christianity?

Christianity originated with Jesus of Nazareth, a Jewish prophet and teacher who probably came to believe he was the Son of God and certainly was regarded as such by his disciples.

Since the bible tells us to PROVE ALL THINGS, who has ever proven to us that Christ formed a NEW RELIGION called Christianity? He was always King of the Jews (Matthew 2:2; Matthew 27:37) or the King of Israel (Mark 15:32; John 1:49) Once you take a deeper look at historical facts you will without a doubt come to the conclusion that Christ neither established or endorsed Christianity.

In many societies, ancient and modern, religion has performed a major role in their development, and the Roman Empire was no different. From the paganbeginning Roman religion was polytheistic. From an initial array of gods and spirits, Rome added to this collection to include both Greek gods as well as a number of foreign cults.

Before Paul, who was a Jew (Acts 21:39) became an Apostle to the Romans, they were a nation which served many gods. It was Paul and others that taught them about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This is why you will still see today, many pagan gods around the Vatican and at the Vatican museum. This is also why you will see MANY pagan customs all throughout Christianity. Apostle Paul and those under his ministry taught the gentiles to observe the Jewish Sabbath and the Feast days.

Paul kept the Jewish feast days (Acts 18:21;20:16);as well as the Sabbath (Acts 17:2), therefore, when he taught the Roman gentiles, who were polytheistic people how to worship the one true God, he taught them to observe the same holy days as he did. Paul was a Christian in the sense that he followed the teachings of Christ but he was not part of a Christian RELIGION that had yet been developed.

“21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

It is important to note that since Paul and others were responsible for converting the first pagans (Romans), it was the Romans that adopted the Jewish lifestyle. If you dig deep enough beneath the surface, you’ll discover that the early Romans, that accepted the one true God, celebrated all of the Feast Days including the Sabbath. They abided by the dietary law and the other Laws of Moses. It should therefore begin to raise questions to believers as to how Christianity developed and how and when did modern day Christians come to worshiping the way they worship today.

Today, there are many commentaries that exist, that explains “Christianity” as something that was established by Christ and spread through the world by the Apostle Paul. They have taken facts (some historical and some biblical) and have laid their own commentaries behind it in an effort to shape ones opinion or thoughts concerning this subject matter. For that reason, we will not summarize the factual data in this section. We will just give you the data so you can see for yourself.

From the Mouth of the Romans:

Constantine defeated Maxentius in 312 AD in a battle for the throne of Rome. After his ascension to the Roman Throne, Constantine issued his Edict of Toleration in 313 AD to stop the persecution of the “true believers” in Christ. Under Constantine the Christian Church for a time found relief from persecution.

Constantine set up the “Council of Nicaea” and presided as “Summus Pontifex”, the official title of a Pope. The Catholic Church claim Peter was the first so called Pope of this Papal system but it was in fact Constantine. So under Constantine as its first Pope, the Roman Catholic Institution as we know it today had its beginning.

francis-sun-worshipConstantine was a devout sun worshipper and a shrewd political genius and his plan was to unite paganism and the Christian church to strengthen his disintegrating empire. Constantine knew that pagans throughout the empire worshiped the sun on “the first day of the week,” and that many Christians especially in Rome and Alexandria had switched to Sunday to avoid persecution. (by them “switching” means that Sunday was not the origin of Christian worship)So Constantine developed a plan to unite both groups on the common platform of Sunday keeping. So on March 7, 321 A.D., he passed his national Sunday law.

“On the venerable Day of the sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits: because it often happens that another Day is not so suitable for grain sowing or for vine planting: lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost”

In 330 A.D., Constantine moved his capital from Rome to Constantinople preparing the way for the Roman Catholic Popes to reign in Rome as the successors of Constantine. As the Roman Church grew in power, it opposed Sabbath observance in favour of Sunday sacredness and made the day change official in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 363-364). So Constantine’s law resulted in the final change of the Sabbath to Sunday.

It should start to come together to some as to what Christianity is. While it is true that those within Christianity believe in the bible; the one true God, and Christ as being the son of God, there are many pagan traditions that incorporate the religion. As was stated in part one, there are many commands that were instituted by God/ Christ that have been added and removed within Christianity. Furthermore, James 2:10 said the following regarding pagan customs:

“Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Babylonian priests rightly calculated the Romans would be willing to learn and follow their teachings. So it was not long before all of Rome was filled with their religious practices. It eventually became so pervasive that people called Rome the “New Babylon.” Early Christians also used the term Babylon as a veiled code word for a particular city, so as to avoid persecution from that pagan power. That city was also Rome. (See also 1 Peter 5:13)

When Christianity came along, the religious practices of Babylon followed right into the Church. Historians said it seemed as though the entire city of Rome converted virtually overnight to Christianity, but what actually happened is that the Babylonian religion was simply brought into the Church. This made it easy for followers of the Babylonian religion to convert to Christianity though it certainly was not a genuine conversion.

Some dispute that Church leaders incorporated pagan Babylonian religious practices into the Catholic Church but even Catholic historians admit it. Cardinal Newman in his Development of Christian Doctrine, pages 372, 373 says that the Church incorporated many pagan religious practices into the Church. He claims that the Church sanctified them and that made it safe to bring these practices into the Church. God of course will never accept pagan practices.

The Bible refers to Rome as the “Mother Whore.”(Revelation 17:5;17:15-16; 19:2) From Rome, all the future Christianity denominations adopted her ways:

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Is it a sin to worship on a Sunday? Of course not. What is a sin is when you esteem another day as holy that was not instituted as a Holy day. Commandment 4 said to Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep IT holy.

The origin of the word “Sunday” explains the peoples’ religious beliefs. Ancient Babylonians took the liberty of naming five planets and subsequently named days of the week in their honor. Naturally, Sunday (day of the sun) was considered the holy day to worship the sun god.

EASTER

Most historians, including Biblical scholars, agree that Easter was originally a pagan festival. According to the New Unger’s Bible Dictionary says: “The word Easter is of Saxon origin, Eastra, the goddess of spring, in whose honour sacrifices were offered about Passover time each year. By the eighth century Anglo–Saxons had adopted the name to designate the celebration of Christ’s resurrection.” However, even among those who maintain that Easter has pagan roots, there is some disagreement over which pagan tradition the festival emerged from. Because more and more people are coming into the knowledge of the origin of this word and its pagan practices, you now may have noticed a shift from people using the word Easter to calling it “Resurrection Sunday.”

CHRISTMAS

Roman pagans first introduced the holiday of Saturnalia, a week long period of lawlessness celebrated between December 17-25.In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it.  Christian leaders succeeded in converting to Christianity large numbers of pagans by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia as Christians. Everything about the Christmas festival has pagan origins, from the Christmas tree to the exchanging of gifts. (Coming in Decembers Edition)

THE CROSS

The Encyclopædia Britannica calls the cross “the principal symbol of the Christian religion. What is so glorified about the cross? Christ was not the first to die on it nor was he the last. In Rome, it was a cruel instrument used in cases of capital punishment. It was never used in worship by Christ, the Apostles, or those that came after them. The Jews had their own symbols that were righteous unto them such as the shofar and the menorah. In the fourth century, however, pagan Emperor Constantine became a convert to apostate Christianity and promoted the cross as its symbol. The cross is found in both pre-Christian and non-Christian cultures.” Various other authorities have linked the cross with nature worship and pagan sex rites.

People typically don’t deny history. Rather it is that of great wars and battles, past historical leaders or archeological findings. However, when it comes to the history that challenges the fiber of their worship with the Father, they tend to want to turn a blind eye to was primary historical evidence tells us.  Many will say, my relationship with God is my personal business and while this is true, he rejects that relationship when you worship him outside of HIS will or the way in which is pleasing to him. Man’s traditions displeases him when the traditions that man has contradicts or goes against what the bible says.  This is the final shocker. As of 2010, Christianity was by far the world’s largest religion, with an estimated 2.2 billion adherents, nearly a third (31 percent) of all 6.9 billion people on Earth,” the Pew report says. History itself proves that this segment alone has errored.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Philip Schaff, History of the Christian Church Volume 3 (Edinburgh: 1884): 380, note.

The first mention of a Nativity feast appears in the Philocalian calendar, a Roman document from 354 CE
